How to Schedule Automated Reports
LedgeSpace removes the manual overhead of client reporting.
- Go to Client Profile > Reporting > Schedules.
- Configure your reporting cycle (e.g., Weekly or Monthly).
- Performance reports will be generated and delivered directly to the client's inbox via scheduled email jobs.
How to Configure Temporal Data
- Open the report builder for a client.
- Under Date Settings, set custom start/end dates.
- Configure the Comparison Period (e.g., previous period, previous year) for granular data review.
How to Use Flexible Templates
- When creating a report, select from predefined layouts such as Monthly Performance Summary, Weekly Snapshot, or Paid Ads Focus.
- Use the toggle switches to show or hide specific data sections per client.
How to Add Agency Commentary
LedgeSpace features human-in-the-loop capabilities.
- Open a draft report.
- Locate the Agency Commentary blocks.
- Inject custom strategic commentary alongside the automated data sections before the report is finalized.
Dual-Format Delivery & The Client Report Vault
- Dual-Format: Clients receive both a generated PDF attached to their email and a secure, password-protected/tokenized unique web URL to view their dynamic report online.
- Client Report Vault: Clients have access to a dedicated, historical archive page to browse past performance data and reports.
How to Track Client Engagement
Use Client Pulse Tracking to gauge client health:
- Navigate to Dashboard > Client Pulse.
- Review built-in engagement analytics tracking how often clients open, view, or interact with their agency reports and dashboards.
How to Trigger Follow-Up Workflows
- Navigate to Client Pulse or the specific Client Profile.
- Identify clients who have unread or unacknowledged reports.
- Use the one-click follow-up functionality to send a reminder email.
What Happens If Data Is Stale When a Report Is Due
LedgeSpace never sends a client a report built on data that hasn't synced recently — a scheduled report is automatically held rather than delivered with outdated numbers.
- When a scheduled send time arrives and one or more of that client's connected platforms haven't synced within their freshness window (see Connecting Integrations), the report is held and you get an email alert plus a dashboard notification naming the affected integration(s).
- You have two ways to resolve it: reconnect or re-sync the integration yourself from the Integrations tab, or manually send the report as-is from the client's Delivery page.
- If you do neither, LedgeSpace automatically sends the report to the client after 6 hours, using whatever data is available at that point — a slightly-stale report is better for client trust than one that silently never arrives.
- If an integration is fully broken (not just unsynced — an expired or revoked connection), the report stays held and retries daily until you reconnect it, since sending on top of genuinely broken data isn't safe.
